Jason Baltazar was a fan of Dirt Late Model racing while living in Lemington, Canada. Jason met Chinn Motorsports during 2006, after the team ventured to Canada for a mutual friend's birthday party. The next season Jason visited Chinn Motorsports on occassion and went to the North/South 100 at Florence Speedway where he met Scott Bloomquist, whom he had only seen and read about in magazines, being from Canada. In 2007 Jason visited many times to learn more about the sport, where he commited to running the 2008 season with the team.

During the 2008 season Jason was the crew chief for Chinn Motorsports as they ran the Lucas Oil Late Model Series, finishing tenth in the final point standings. He has also invested in the team financially. Currently Jason has returned home to the family business in Canada and crews for Justin Coulter, a modified racer, whom competes in Canada and the United States.

You will always see Jason at the big shows, as he supports Chinn Motorsports where ever and as often as possible, while taking care of his Canadian obligations.
