After taking the weekend off for the birth of his first child, Carter William Chinn, "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn will return to competitive action this Thursday through Saturday night for the 4th Annual Lucas Oil Nationals, at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. This race will pay $35,000 and will be taped for rebroadcast on Speed Channel.
Baring no accidents or mechanical failures at Knoxville, the Erwin Dealership/C.J Rayburn/PBM Performance/Sugar Creek Packaging/AWP of Ohio/JB Enterprises/Hyatt Web Designs/Dodge/Rayburn will head to the Quad City Raceway On Sunday for the 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Shootout, paying Late Models $12,000 to win.
This will be Wayne Chinn's second appearance at Knoxville Raceway. Chinn competed in the USAC Silver Crown NAPA "Hawkeye Hundred" in 2001, finishing 7th in the B-Main.
Action at Knoxville Raceway will kick off Thursday with a $6,000 to win feature event. Friday will also feature a $6,000 to win twenty five lap event.
