"The Sniper" Wayne Chinn looks forward to Indiana Icebreaker

Bradford, OH - The Midwest portion of “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn and Chinn Motorsports 2007 schedule kicked off Saturday night, March 24th at Brownstown Speedway (IN) for their opening night festivities. With the high car count, and expected cool weather, Brownstown used a pill draw format to determine heat race starting line ups. Wayne would draw a seventh place starting position, but not stay their long as he rocketed to third place on the first lap of the ten lap event. “The Sniper” would continue his march to the front, working his way to the second place finish, and was closing on eventual feature winner “Silver Shark” Scott James, when the checkered flag flew on the preliminary event. Following the strong finish in the heat race, Wayne would find himself starting fifth in the twenty five lap feature. Going into turn one on the first lap of the race, contact with another car resulted in a broken right tie rod and ended what looked to be a promising night for "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn.

"I would like to thank everyone who came out and helped us and also thank all my fans that made the trip to Brownstown. I wish we had a better finish for them, but we will be back the following week for the Icebreaker. If we are as fast as we were in the heat race, I am very confident we can make the show" commented the popular Bradford, Ohio driver, from his shop Monday afternoon.

The 10th annual Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway is on tap next for Chinn Motorsports.

The gates will open at Brownstown Speedway at 1PM with hot laps beginning at 4:30PM. It should be noted that Brownstown is now in the Eastern Time Zone year-round. Hot laps will be followed by Lifelong Locks Time Trials for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The 75 lap A-Main will pay $10,000 to win and $700 to start.
