"The Sniper" pilots a CT525 to victory at Moler
Bradford, OH - On Friday evening Chinn Motorsports headed to Moler Raceway Park where "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn was once again piloting CJ Rayburn's CT525 crate engine car and started off the evening by finishing second in the qualifying heat race to winner Rick Combs. Combs wasn't able to make the line up for the feature, moving "The Sniper" up to the front row for the start of the 25 lap main.

Barry Doss took the lead on the opening lap and held off Chinn's advances until a lap 7 restart when "The Sniper" set his sights on Doss and used the cushion at the top of the track to power in to the lead. Once Chinn was at the point he never looked back as he went unchallenged in taking his Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car to victory lane, earning his first win of the season at Moler Raceway Park and second of 2010.
Chinn Motorsports and CJ Rayburn ended up at Portsmouth Raceway Park for the second week in a row on Saturday evening. "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn laid down a sixth place finish in the heat race, which put him on the front row for the consolation event. Chinn lead all 12 laps of the consolation, advancing him in to the 25 lap feature event where he would start from the seventeenth position.
When the green flag waved it was "The Sniper" who was picking off cars one by one as he moved in to the top 10 by the halfway point of the race. After moving up as high as the seventh position contact with another driver slowed the momentum of the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car enough to allow a couple of cars to pass. Chinn held on to a strong ninth place run as he crossed the finish line bringing home another top 10 finish.
