"The Sniper" claims a Top 5 and pair of Top 10's

Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports took part in a triple header over the weekend and recorded a top 5 and a pair of top 10 finishes. On Friday night “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn headed north to Attica Raceway Park for the first Sunoco ALMS show of the weekend.  During the heat race Chinn fell back to the fourth position, but held on to the final transfer spot, making the 30 lap feature event.

The Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car rolled off the starting grid from the thirteenth position. “The Sniper” went to work as soon as the green flag dropped as he was already in the top ten by lap three.  A caution free race spread the field out as Chinn worked his way up to the eighth position and was closing in on the cars in front of him when the checker flag waved.

On Saturday night Eldora Speedway would host the second Sunoco ALMS show of the weekend. “The Sniper” started off by setting fourth quick time and finishing second in his qualifying heat race, after a grueling battle with Jeep Van Wormer for the win. Another caution free race saw Chinn stay in the top five all night as he crossed the line in the fifth position to bring in a top five finish.

Waynesfield Motorsports Park hosted a late model special on Sunday evening, which would be the final race of the triple header weekend for Chinn Motorsports. “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn finished third in his qualifying heat race and would line up his Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car on the inside the fifth row for the 25 lap feature event. A slick surface that provided minimum passing only allowed “The Sniper” to pick off a couple competitors earning him his second eighth place and top ten finish of the weekend.
