Moler and Tazewell up next for "The Sniper"

Bradford, OH - Over the Easter weekend Chinn Motorsports stayed close to home as they ventured to Moler Raceway Park for their season opening event. The evening started off with "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn coming home third in his heat race, which set him up to start fifth in the feature event. A slick track that provided minimum passing only allowed Chinn to advance two positions during the 25 lap feature event, crossing the finish line in the third position.

On Saturday night Florence Speedway was the hosted a late model special. "The Sniper" was looking to rebound after the showing at the Spring 50. During the heat race a tight battle ensued which led to Steve Casebolt taking the win over Chinn and Scott James. The passing points system set the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car to roll off the starting grid from outside the third row for the 40 lap feature.

After running in the top 5 for the first half of the race a tire problem sent the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car falling back through the field. Chinn managed to hold on to a thirteenth place finish as he crossed the checkered flag.
