Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports ventured to the "Clay by the Bay" East Bay Raceway Park on March 3rd through 6th for the National All Star Racing Association (NASRA) sanctioned racing events, paying $2,500 to win each. It would be mother nature capturing round number on on Wednesday night. Thursday night "The Sniper" worked out some of the bugs in his Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio, Sugar Creek Packaging, American Racer Tires C.J. Rayburn Race Car as he managed a fourteenth place finish to begin the season.

Friday night's race produced the first top five finish of the year as Wayne worked hard in the final laps, in a three car battle, to bring home a fourth place finish behind Skylar Marlar, defending NASRA champion Aaron Ridley and former UMP National Champion Rodney Melvin.

"The Sniper" would follow up Fridays performance by grabbing a heat race win on Saturday and his first pole of the season. The pole position starting spot looked promising early as the no. 1 Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio, Sugar Creek Packaging, American Racer Tires C.J. Rayburn Race Car set the pace by leading the first 15 circuits of the 35 lap feature event. On lap 16 the car lost power sending "The Sniper" pitside and ending his night early and putting him twentieth in the final rundown for the finale of the NASRA Winternationals at the "Clay by the Bay."
