"The Sniper" gears up for second half of the season
Bradford, OH - The Chinn Motorsports team was close to home over the weekend as they took part in the annual "Dream" at Eldora Speedway. "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn went out late during qualifying and ended up starting the tail of the heat race. Chinn worked his way up to a ninth place finish in the heat, putting him in the C Main line up.  Rain moved in after the heat races were completed and the racing action was postponed until Sunday afternoon.
 
"The Sniper" pilots a CT525 to victory at Moler
Bradford, OH - On Friday evening Chinn Motorsports headed to Moler Raceway Park where "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn was once again piloting CJ Rayburn's CT525 crate engine car and started off the evening by finishing second in the qualifying heat race to winner Rick Combs. Combs wasn't able to make the line up for the feature, moving "The Sniper" up to the front row for the start of the 25 lap main.
 
"The Sniper" looks to rebound after Memorial Day weekend
Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports ventured to Union County Speedway on Friday evening for their opening event of the season. “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn piloted his CT525 engine to a second place finish in his qualifying heat race, which set him up to start on the pole for the feature event. At the drop of the green Chinn shot in to the lead over Greg Johnson and held the point for the first couple laps. A mechanical issue on the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car sent Chinn to the pits, ending his night.
 
A Top 5 finish for "The Sniper" in NASRA action
Bradford, OH - Mother Nature won the battle and canceled racing across the Ohio Valley on Friday evening, but on Saturday Chinn Motorsports headed south to Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY for the $3,000 to win NASRA event. “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn piloted a new style Rayburn Race Car with a CT525 engine package for the first time and qualified seventh quick out of the twenty-eight entrants.
 
The Sniper claims another top 5 at Moler
Bradford, OH - On Friday evening "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn rolled in to Moler Raceway Park for the "Freedom Fighters 40," but he would be behind the wheel of the Jeff Raisor Racing #55R Rocket Monte Carlo. "The Sniper" started off by finishing third in the qualifying heat race, setting him up to start from inside the fifth row for the 40 lap feature event.
 
The Sniper’s weekend plagued by mechanical issues
Bradford, OH - On Friday evening Chinn Motorsports rolled into Rocky Top Raceway in Coal Grove, Ohio for the “Les Boggs 50” paying $5,000 to the winner. “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn clocked in fifth fastest out of the twenty-six entrants and went on to win his qualifying heat race over Steve Casebolt and Eddie Carrier Jr.
 
"The Sniper" picks off the season opener at Oakshade
Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports kicked off their weekend at KC Raceway for the Ralph Seymour Memorial on Friday night for the $5,000 to win 47 lap feature event. During the qualifying heat race “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn ran into mechanical issues, breaking the rearend and ending his night. The team worked hard on Friday night and Saturday morning to replace the rearend, but mother nature moved in and washed out the $10,000 to win O’Reilly All Star event scheduled for Saturday evening.
 
Dirt Track World Cup Classic up next for "The Sniper"
Bradford, OH - Rain showers across the country left a lot of tracks closed on Friday night, but Chinn Motorsports headed to Attica Raceway Park for the second week in a row. “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn started off the evening by winning his qualifying heat race, but redrew a 10 to start the 25 lap feature from outside the fifth row.
 
"The Sniper" claims a Top 5 and pair of Top 10's
Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports took part in a triple header over the weekend and recorded a top 5 and a pair of top 10 finishes. On Friday night “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn headed north to Attica Raceway Park for the first Sunoco ALMS show of the weekend.  During the heat race Chinn fell back to the fourth position, but held on to the final transfer spot, making the 30 lap feature event.
 
"The Sniper" looks to rebound with Triple Header weekend
Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports started off their weekend at Moler Raceway Park on Friday night. During the qualifying heat race the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio / Sugar Creek Packing /American Racer Tires #1 C.J. Rayburn Race Car ran into problems on the opening lap, after making contact with another car. The contact was just enough to bend the right front suspension and end the chances for a heat race win.
 
Moler and Tazewell up next for "The Sniper"
Bradford, OH - Over the Easter weekend Chinn Motorsports stayed close to home as they ventured to Moler Raceway Park for their season opening event. The evening started off with "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn coming home third in his heat race, which set him up to start fifth in the feature event. A slick track that provided minimum passing only allowed Chinn to advance two positions during the 25 lap feature event, crossing the finish line in the third position.
 
"The Sniper" picks off a top 10 finish in Indiana Icebreaker.
Bradford, OH - The 34th Annual Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway saw "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn picking his way through the field to earn a top 10 finish. On a cool March evening 61 entrants signed in to take part in the annual Indiana Icebreaker, sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Series. "The  Sniper" struggled during qualifying and timed in 48th quickest, so the team made changes to the setup for the qualifying heat race. From the eighth starting spot, Wayne moved up to the fifth position by the checkered flag, leaving him to run a last chance consolation race.
 
Misfortune strikes "The Sniper" at Spring 50
Bradford, OH - Misfortune struck "The Sniper" Saturday night at Florence Speedway. After qualifying 8th against some of the regions toughest competitors and proceeding to dominate his qualifying heat race, his luck would soon change in the 34th Annual Spring 50. Starting up front, and in position to win, "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn blew an engine, ending his weekend, thus erasing all hopes for a good finish.
 

"The Sniper" kicks off the 2010 season at East Bay Raceway Park

Bradford, OH - Chinn Motorsports ventured to the "Clay by the Bay" East Bay Raceway Park on March 3rd through 6th for the National All Star Racing Association (NASRA) sanctioned racing events, paying $2,500 to win each. It would be mother nature capturing round number on on Wednesday night. Thursday night "The Sniper" worked out some of the bugs in his Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy Ohio, Sugar Creek Packaging, American Racer Tires C.J. Rayburn Race Car as he managed a fourteenth place finish to begin the season.
