Bedford, Hagerstown and Challenger Up Next for "The Sniper"

Bradford, OH - Wayne Chinn and Chinn Motorsports visited Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Friday night for the Independent Racing Series $6,000 to win season opener. A sixth place finish in the heat race would put Wayne on the inside of the second row for the B main event. While running in the second position an engine problem developed, Wayne quickly pulled off the track which forced him to use a series provisional to start the feature event.

   

Fast Time for Chinn at KC Raceway in "Glockner 50"

Bradford, OH - “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn made his presence felt over the weekend at Jim Nier’s KC Raceway, located in Chillicothe, Ohio for the “Glockner 50,” sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Series. Chinn claimed the Performance Rod & Customs Fast Time award after being the quickest in time trials out of the 52 entrants.

   

"The Sniper" Survives Lucas Oil Georgia Swing

Bradford, OH -This past weekend “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Series into Georgia for a triple header weekend. On Thursday night at Swainsboro Raceway, Wayne set eighth quick time which earned him the outside of the front row in heat four. After racing Justin Rattliff hard into the first turn, “The Sniper” launched into the lead off turn two and would pull away until the car suddenly slowed with a broken driveshaft.

   

Chinn Holds On In Indiana Icebreaker

Bradford, OH - “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn ventured to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN for the annual Indiana Icebreaker event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Series over the weekend. Wayne proved that he, and the entire Chinn Motorsports team, had picked their game up this season as he set quick time in group one and fifth overall, out of the 61 car field.

   

“The Sniper” Charges Forward in Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic

Bradford, OH - Wayne Chinn charged to the front as he came from his seventeenth starting position to finish sixth in the 4th annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway located in Clarksville, TN. This was only Chinn’s second appearance at the facility, his first coming in 2005 for the same event.

   

Chinn Claims First Victory of 08 in the Peach State

Bradford, OH - "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn made the most of his first racing appearance in the state of Georgia, as he brought home a victory Sunday afternoon at the Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The $1,000 victory was the first of the 2008 racing season for the Erwin Chrysler Dodge/Sugar Creek Packing/1 Shot Graphics/AWP of Ohio/ Dargie Powered/Rayburn Race Car and Chinn's first career victory on American Racer Tires.

   

Chinn makes four features during Florida Speedweeks

Bradford, OH - After a dismal 2007 Winternationals, which included failing to make the show in six races at East Bay Raceway, and only making one feature during the two week tour, “The Sniper” Wayne Chinn’s luck did a complete turn around during this year’s Florida tour, as the Bradford, Ohio star made four events and turned many heads along the way.

   

Wayne Chinn Racing and Chinn Motorsports Ready for Upcoming 2008 Season

Bradford, OH - After registering his most impressive season behind the wheel of a stock car, "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn is already looking ahead to 2008. Chinn will once again attack the Independent Racing Series in this Erwin Dealership/C.J Rayburn Race Cars/PBM Performance/Sugar Creek Packaging/AWP of Ohio/JB Enterprises/ Hyatt Web Designs/Dodge/Rayburn, chasing the title he nearly won in 2007. The Chinn Motor Sports team will also run selected major events, sanctioned and unsanctioned, at several different venues in hopes of adding to Bradford, Ohio driver's already impressive resume.
